Position Overview
The Window & Door Installer is a hands-on, full-time field position responsible for the professional installation of replacement windows and entry doors at residential job sites throughout our service area. This role is ideal for someone who takes genuine pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and holds themselves to a high standard of quality, even when no one is watching.
You’ll be working with top-of-the-line products, serving homeowners who have made a significant investment in their homes, and representing a company with nearly 50 years of trust behind its name. The bar is high, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Responsibilities
– Professionally install Marvin Infinity replacement windows and premium entry doors at residential job sites
– Accurately measure openings and prepare job sites prior to installation
– Remove existing windows and doors with care to protect surrounding surfaces and finishes
– Ensure proper fit, level, plumb, seal, and weatherproofing on every installation
– Apply interior and exterior trim, casing, and finishing details to a high standard
– Identify and communicate any unforeseen site conditions or structural concerns to the production manager
– Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout the project and upon completion
– Communicate professionally and courteously with homeowners throughout the installation process
– Complete job documentation, checklists, and close-out forms accurately
– Load, transport, and handle materials and equipment safely
– Represent Wrightway Home Improvements with professionalism at all times
Qualifications
– 2+ years of experience in window, door, or exterior remodeling installation preferred
– Strong working knowledge of measuring, cutting, leveling, and finishing techniques
– Ability to read and follow job scopes, installation specs, and manufacturer guidelines
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday
– Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet
– High attention to detail with a commitment to quality over speed
– Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-friendly demeanor
– Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively on the job site
– Dependable, punctual, and committed to full-time hours (35-40 hours/week with overtime opportunity)
